Home should be a certain type of therapy (Chesapeake)

BEAUTIFUL, mature, respectful, interesting family of four (2 women, 2 dogs LOL) Looking for a relaxed, respectful temporary living space ******OR*****???? Our forever home.
If rent was close to what it was a couple years ago that would be one thing.

***NOT LOOKING FOR ANY INTAMITE RELATIONSHIPS.
WED PREFER A FAMILY OR EVEN HELPING GOOD INTENTIONED FOLKS.
My father is a retired navy seal.
He has surgery on both knees and I would like to honor him by being within a 30 mile commute if possible.
We both have work online and have been saving as well for the move.
We will also seeking further employment, churches, and volunteering.
Ultimately we want to make our our little homestead if not perhaps even by hand.

To grow a garden for our own food, water, etc.
To break away from this montary system and commune with nature once more.
