We are looking for a Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team in the Virgina Beach area.
*Job Responsibilities*
As a Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will be responsible for providing service, testing, and inspection of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and associated equipment.
Additional responsibilities of the Fire Sprinkler Technician include:
* Complete all activities related to service, Inspection, and installation of fire sprinkler systems
* Complete documentation including but not limited to inspection reports, service ticket reporting, and detailed site specific inventory reports.
* Customer service, coordination, and communication
* Technical project and administrative support and site walkthrough
* Ability to work independently or supervise others as required
* Preparing work schedules, reviewing plans/prints, and carrying out assigned duties
*Job Requirements*
To qualify for the Fire Sprinkler Technician position, you must have at least a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with fire sprinkler systems in both install and inspection and service.
Additional requirements of the Fire Sprinkler Technician Position include:
* NICET Certification (Level II Water-Based preferred)
* Proficiency with computer skills, MS Excel, Email
* Strong customer service skills and communications
* Familiarity with NFPA 25 & 13 (National Fire Protection Association) and local codes
