SAP S/4HANA BASIS Consultant Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain SAP S/4HANA systems
Perform system upgrades, patching, and enhancements
Troubleshoot system issues and provide resolution
Ensure system security and compliance with DoD standards
Create and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new SAP functionality and improve system performance
Monitor system performance and provide proactive maintenance as needed
Provide guidance and support to junior BASIS team members
Participate in project planning and estimation activities
Herdt Consulting, Inc is seeking an SAP S/4HANA BASIS Consultant with a minimum of 4 years experience.
The ideal candidate will be a W2 employee responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of SAP S/4HANA systems for our clients in the defense sector.

citizen eligible for a SECRET DoD security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, preferably with SAP S/4HANA
CompTIA Security+ certified
Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, system administration, and troubleshooting
Experience with SAP system upgrades, patching, and enhancement packages
Knowledge of DoD security requirements and compliance standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
