We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent to support our Virginia location who will be responsible for working directly with clients, assisting them with their personal property and life insurance needs.
Our service agent must be knowledgeable, friendly, organized and efficient while assisting our customers to ensure prompt service and support.

Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Review current policy information with clients and make coverage recommendations
Process Insured policy change requests
Contact insured within 2 hours of receipt of all service requests; not to exceed 8 hrs.
Follow up to ensure accuracy of endorsements processed by the carrier
Underwrite, rewrite, re-quote, reinstate and cancel existing policies on behalf of the insured
Obtain all underwriting information and/or any trailing documentation from the client on behalf of the carrier
Notate all interactions with Insureds in the agencies client management system
Obtain all signatures forms/applications required by the carrier
Process Insured payments
Review billing accounts with insureds
Review and update all current client contact information in client management system
Furnish clients with requests for proof of insurance (binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, ID cards, declaration pages and evidence of property forms)
Deliver client correspondence via Email/USPS

Education:
High School Diploma Required
Experience and Additional Competencies:
Must be P&C Licensed in VA
Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a personal lines service agent reporting directly to senior management
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software (EPIC)
Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties
Working knowledge of all personal lines insurance, insurance agency operations, coverage’s, rates, markets and applicable insurance laws/codes/regulations.
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
Required:
Must possess Property & Casualty license
