Landmark Hotel Group is seeking a Sales Manager in Training.
This entry-level training position is designed for someone with some hotel (or similar industry) or college hospitality experience.
In this on-the-job training position, you will learn all the ins and outs of selling a full-service hotel.
Expectations:
Demonstrated sales ability
Possess a "Do it now" and "Yes, I can" approach
"Guest first" approach
Outgoing, inquisitive personality
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated closing skills
Core Responsibilities:
Maintain Top Accounts
Prospect business for the pipeline and hit list
Direct Sales Calls in the market
Handle Group Bookings & Inquiries
Send out contracts to verify rooms and meeting space commitments
Qualifications:
Commensurate or transfer skill set is of primary importance.
Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management
Good attitude and work ethic practices to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
Operational/Service background or orientation
Knowledge of Food and Beverage (catering)
Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required
