We are currently looking for a full time Security Account Manager to manage a government contract account.
This position will oversee and manage approximately 20 - 30 security officers throughout the Tidewater Area.
The main responsibilities of this position include:
Hire and onboard new employees by adding employees to all company online systems
Manage background checks for new and existing employees
Manage drug testing for new and existing employees
Maintain each employee's personnel file and ensure all files contain required forms and documentation
Manage and track all employee licenses, credentials, and certifications to ensure each credential is timely renewed
Enter employees' licenses and certifications into the company's license tracking system
Assist with benefits administration, including but not limited to creating, managing, and updating an employee census for health insurance
Hold disciplinary meetings with employees when needed
Draft comprehensive and concise disciplinary documents such as write-ups for employee infractions
Conduct orientation meetings with new employees to explain company policies
Communicate and meet with certain clients via email and in-person
Order new office supplies when needed
Answer office phones
Other duties as assigned
This position is full time with a work schedule of Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm.
However, due to the nature of this position, there will likely be times when work will need to be done remotely after normal working hours.
Candidates must be available to be on call and available outside of normal business hours including weekends.
Candidates MUST have their own reliable transportation.
This is a salaried position.
The starting salary for this position is $55,000/year to start + benefits.
We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
Successful candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years of managerial experience in the security management field.
Candidates with a DCJS security license (armed and/or unarmed) are strongly preferred, but not required.
