The Retail-Bulk Sales Specialist is responsible for order pickup from revenue services and the timely delivery of fare cards to customers.
The PT Retail-Bulk Sales Specialist will evaluate and implement new and existing delivery techniques to increase sales volume.
Essential Job Functions:

Manage and maintain the fare card email order account.
Deliver fare cards within 7 business days of receiving order form from revenue services.
Maintain knowledge of customer status, including fare card delivery status, of all retail-bulk orders.
Ensure and adhere to all finance policies, procedures and requirements on fare media orders, revenue collections, receipts, and deposits.
Conduct monthly review with Retail Account Sales Specialist.
Maintain excellent relationships with existing and potential fare card customers.
Manage records created and received in compliance with the Hampton Roads Transit Records Management Policy and Procedure.
Responsible for maintaining a general awareness of HRT s EMS.
Responsible for handling all related job responsibilities in accordance to HRT S Environmental Policy, relevant EMS Standard Operations Procedures, and Emergency Management Plan.

Must have thorough knowledge of HRT s products and services.
Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Required Software Knowledge and Skills essential to Job Functions:
Proficiency in using computer systems and the listed software applications associated with performance of assigned work is essential.
Basic problem-solving skills associated with software applications used is expected.
Software usage relevant to job duties will be evaluated.

Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Internet Explorer
Training and/or Education:
Bachelor s degree from accredited four-year college or university in Business Administration, Finance, Sales, or Marketing; appropriate experience may substitute for degree.
Required Experience:
Three years of sales, customer service and/or financial management experience.
Licenses or Certificates:
Possess a valid Driver's License.
Acquire a Virginia Driver's License within 60 days after the date of hire (in instances when an out of state license is not the applicant's current state of residence).
