We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engagement Coordinator to join our team.
As an Engagement Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing various engagement initiatives and programs.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the community and has strong leadership and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engagement strategies to increase community involvement and support
- Lead fundraising efforts to secure financial resources for our organization
- Manage and supervise a team of volunteers, providing guidance and support
- Oversee the planning and execution of engagement events and activities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement programs that address community needs
-Assist in updating the website
-Assist in developing the communications/public relations/marketing plans
- Monitor program outcomes and evaluate effectiveness, making necessary adjustments as needed
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including community partners, donors, and volunteers
- Provide administrative support, including budget management, reporting, and documentation
Experience:
- Proven experience in leadership roles, preferably in the non-profit sector
- Strong background in fundraising and donor relations
- Experience in volunteer management and supervision
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of market trends and best practices in engagement strategies
- Familiarity with administrative processes and budget management
- Background in social work or public health is a plus; BS/BA degree in Social Work, Public Relations, Marketing/Communications preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement program development initiatives
-Grant writing experience preferred
-Mac Computer experience required
