Sentara Healthcare’s Information Technology division is seeking a proven leader at the individual contributor level to join the Business Relationship Management team.
This is a Full-Time position, fully remote, with day shift hours and great benefits! Travel expectations up to 2x a year to VA for staff development and team building activities.
Work Location: Remote opportunities available in the following states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming Job responsibilities: The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) will work as the strategic interface and trusted advisor between the business and IT to deliver technology solutions that align with the business’s strategic initiatives and goals.
The BRM will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships, understanding the business value of new IT requests, advising business partners on technical implications and solution options, IT portfolio management, and supporting senior members of the team in achieving desired results through the delivery of technology solutions.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in relationship management, consulting, or business development within a technical discipline, must be able to communicate clearly, negotiate, listen, mitigate conflict, build alliances, and achieve desired results using strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
The BRM currently being recruited will support assigned divisions of an integrated health system.
In addition, the BRM will be aligned to a strategic workstreams at the enterprise level.
The ideal candidate will possess a knowledge of business operations that support functions within an integrated health system.
Previous experience, education and/or proven knowledge within one or more of these areas will be greatly beneficial.
Required job qualifications: • Master of listening, reframing, influencing, and persuading • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation & leadership skills • Must be skilled at interacting with IT and business partner senior leadership • Must demonstrate ability to build exceptional working relationships with both the business unit and IT to establish a sense of trust, team engagement and ownership.
• Strategic agility and partnering – can anticipate future business needs and has broad knowledge and perspective of the business unit.
• Technical credibility – is seen as a thought leader on technical issues and solutions, high level understanding of organization technology portfolio and has keeps abreast of new technologies that will help the business achieve strategic goals and improve business operations • Strong business IQ – has a deep understanding of the business unit operations, operating model, and priorities.
• Innovator – ongoing exploration of new methods, ideas, or technologies to solve business problems and produce value.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience in areas of IT, healthcare or business relationship management, process engineering, and/or business analysis or other related experience.
• Business experience within one or more service areas of integrated health system, process improvement a plus.

Team Members have the opportunity to earn an annual flat amount Bonus payment if established system and employee eligibility criteria is met.
For applicants within Washington State, the following hiring range will be applied: $106,158 to $176.
930/annually.
