*Licensed Clinical Therapist/Counselor* *Job Description* Tea & Empathy Counseling LLC is currently seeking Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to provide face-to-face or hybrid sessions in Virginia Beach, Virginia as 1099 independent contractors.

*Qualifications:* All eligible candidates must have the following: · LPC license in Virginia *Compensation:* · 70% of billable rates (varies by insurance).
· Bonuses for 100 client hours in a given month.
*Schedule:* Our office is open Tuesday – Saturday.
The schedule is flexible to accommodate our clients and work-life balance for our clinicians.
*Education:* Master’s (Required) *Experience:* Post licensure: 1 year (Preferred) *Responsibilities:* *Assisting/providing counseling to clients through various types of counseling services including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
* · Assisting/providing counseling to clients through various types of clinical research assistance services.
· Maintain and update client files throughout the process of receiving treatment services under our system of care management software.
* Assisting/providing counseling services to assigned clients through various types of outreach marketing campaigns as needed.
* Demonstrates knowledge of Virginia state mental health laws and guidelines regarding consultation with clients about aspects of their lives that may be affecting their ability to cope with the treatment process.
* Provides thorough and effective coverage of all client cases.
* Maintains & updates case-specific knowledge by researching case-specific trends and issues within the field to include but not limited to best practices, best practices in treatment approaches, state laws, etc.
*Adherence to Department of Health guidelines regarding confidentiality / patient confidentiality policies* Job Type: Contract Pay: From $60,500.
