As a *Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager*, your role involves providing foundational support within the insurance agency commercial lines department.
You’ll handle administrative and customer service tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of essential processes.
The is a remote and/or hybrid for the East Coast of the US.
Let’s break down your responsibilities:
*Digital Document Handling*:
* Process documents assigned based on the client team.
*Policy Management*:
* Monitor department tasks related to policy processing.
* Maintain accurate policy records.
* Perform data entry at the policy level.
* Prepare policies for review by account technician.
* Confirming all necessary documents are attached to the file.
* Creating a policy checking request form.
* Sending the policy for review.
* If there are no errors, process the policy to the client.
* If errors exist, process the policy once Account Manager has addressed the errors and requested appropriate changes to be made.
* Update policy data in agency management system.
* Assist Producers, when necessary, in Application entry.
*Endorsements and Audits*:
* Review endorsements for accuracy.
* If correct, send them to the client with an explanatory email.
* If errors are found, process requests for correction.
* Bill any endorsement or audit per agency procedures.
* Coordinate with carriers/wholesalers to ensure completion of endorsements.
* Assist in the processing of final audits.
*Proofs*:
* Handle daily certificate/evidence of insurance requests.
* Maintain a list of holders.
* Collate proofs for distribution.
* Issue auto ID cards.
*Special Projects and Communication*:
* Handle special projects as assigned.
* Develop proficiency in technology systems and software, including tools like *Applied Epic*.
* Cultivate positive working relationships with colleagues and clients.
