**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to help in our multi-family accounting operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, maintenance of accurate financial records, team building, and staff development.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage and lead daily accounting operations, including month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
- Review general ledger entries, balance sheets, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness
- Oversee cash flow management and forecasting on a daily and monthly basis.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for senior management
- Conduct general ledger reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
- Perform financial analysis to support business decisions
- Utilize financial concepts to provide strategic recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with internal and external auditing agencies to ensure compliance and facilitate audits
- Proficient in accounting software, Excel, and Adobe
- Lead and mentor Accounting team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
**Skills:**
- Proven experience in regulatory reporting and compliance
- Strong knowledge of other accounting software, Excel, and Adobe
- Expertise in accrual accounting and general ledger reconciliation
- Ability to analyze financial data
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial concepts
