*Responsibilities*:
- Greet and assist prospective residents in a professional and friendly manner
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants
- Provide information about rental rates, lease terms, and community amenities
- Process rental applications and conduct background checks on applicants
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately
- Collect and process rental payments from residents
- Address resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and unit turnovers
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, resident interactions, and financial transactions
*Skills*:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively interact with prospective and current residents
- Proficiency in property management software such as OneSite for managing leasing activities and resident information
- Familiarity with Tax Credit and Section 8 housing regulations and procedures for assisting eligible applicants
- Knowledge of property leasing laws, fair housing regulations, and compliance requirements
- Strong conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes or challenging situations with professionalism and diplomacy
- Basic understanding of property maintenance to identify issues or coordinate repairs as needed
- Customer relationship management skills to build positive relationships with residents and provide exceptional customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for creating reports, maintaining records, and managing correspondence
