Vintun is seeking a forward-thinking Requirements/Business Analyst to join our team in support of our Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) contract in Norfolk, VA The successful candidate will play a critical role in documenting requirements and refining user stories for the Navy’s Naval Operational Supply System (NOSS) enterprise system The ideal candidate must have experience in an Agile/Scrum environment conducting requirements gathering, business analysis, developing user stories, and acceptance criteria The candidate will also aid in mapping business processes, developing modern business methods, and identifying best practices The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to challenging and changing situations quickly while being able to facilitate the completion of multiple tasks and assignments.
What will you do? Serve as a business/requirements analyst between contractor teams, stakeholders, and functional experts to achieve business reform objectives Interview supply chain process owners and stakeholders to establish business process maps, requirements, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Provide business process analysis and aid in designing more efficient supply chain business processes and requirements Lead and facilitate requirements gathering workshops Create and refine functional requirements based on existing systems or requested new functionality Create and refine User Stories based on new or existing functional requirements Develop Acceptance Criteria for created User Stories and requirements Develop Test Cases against the developed User Stories and requirements Develop RTMs to track the traceability and dependencies between requirements and systems Aid in developing/refining Agile and Scrum best practices for the project Collaborate with colleagues to produce valid and accurately written technical content for various products (e.
g.
, briefings, narratives, and justifications) Develop and present project status presentations using Microsoft Suite Job Requirements: Requirements/Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 8 - 10 years of IT experience with BA/BS in a related IT field Experience managing requirements for large, enterprise-wide IT programs Experience with Agile/Scrum development Experience with business analysis, documenting requirements, and creating use cases and test cases Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and facilitate requirements gathering workshops Strong analytical and writing skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience using BPMN 2.
0 notation and Microsoft Visio Experience collaborating with multiple organizations on IT delivery projects Must be a US citizen Preferred Skills Knowledge of Supply Chain Management or logistics Knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools Strong organizational skills Strong technical process writing ability Experience using Microsoft Teams Travel While this position is remote, it may require monthly travel to Norfolk, VA or Mechanicsburg, PA for project meetings.
Physical Requirements: Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen.
Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
May include lifting weight up to 30 pounds as necessary.
