License Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities: - Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles - Perform physical examinations and health assessments - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician - Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans - Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare procedures and disease prevention - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records Skills: - Proficient in performing physical examinations and health assessments - Knowledge of medical office procedures and protocols - Experience in providing catheter care and performing gastric lavage - Familiarity with pediatric nursing practices and techniques - Proficient in using electronic medical record systems, particularly Epic - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and skills.
