*Duties* - Conduct patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop treatment plans - Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises - Administer evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to address specific mental health conditions - Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and skill-building - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards - Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of mental health *Skills* - Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and ability to provide immediate support to individuals in distress - Strong assessment skills to accurately diagnose mental health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans - Knowledge of systems theory and ability to consider the impact of social, cultural, and environmental factors on mental health - Experience in providing care for individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and knowledge of trauma-informed approaches - Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques and ability to implement them effectively in treatment sessions - Competence in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, understanding their unique needs, and providing appropriate support - Proficiency in using the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) codes for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes - Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health conditions and treatments - Ability to facilitate group therapy sessions, create a safe space for participants, and guide discussions effectively - Strong research skills to stay updated on current trends, evidence-based practices, and advancements in the field of mental health Job Type: Full-time Pay: $68,379.
