*Supply Technician*
ASR International is seeking an experienced *Supply Technician *with a Secret clearance for a position located in Norfolk, VA.
The position provides supply support to CNAL MHE/SMSE maintenance, repair and overhaul operations.
*Supply Technician Responsibilities: * * Provide supply support to MHE/SMSE maintenance, repair and overhaul operations.
* Manage and sustain a pre-expended general-use consumable list (GUCL) parts inventory of approximately 41 line-items and 1,700 pieces.
Typical items in the GUCL include nuts, bolts, washers, and hoses.
Management of parts inventory includes reporting Other Direct Cost (ODC) contract expenditures to replenish inventory, maintaining stocking levels, supporting Casualty Report (CASREP) requirements for parts, conducting random and planned audits to ensure inventory accuracy, and recommending items to add to or delete from inventory based upon demand or changes to the equipment supported.
* Deliver and pick up parts and material.
* Expedite parts procurement.
*Qualifications:* * Secret level security clearance or ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistical/supply support of an automotive or mechanical repair/maintenance operation.
Navy shipboard experience preferred * Possess a Valid Motor Vehicle Operators Licensed driver.
* Forklift operator qualification up to 20k.
* Completion of 10-hour OSHA General Industry Card (30 hour Card Preferred) * Be physically able to be on their feet for several hours each day.
Additionally, must be able to lift 50 pounds in order to operate hand dollies, pallet jacks to move parts and materials, as required.
