Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adults, and the elderly
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as necessary
- Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems
Qualifications:
-Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- minimum of one-year direct experience in a Behavioral Health treatment program or in an Acute Care setting
