Full Time Permanent position ~ Benefits ~ Premium Pay
4-6 week assignment
Internal Resource Pool RN Position requires travel to all 12 Sentara hospitals including:
Southside and Peninsula Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Halifax, and Albemarle (NC)
We are currently seeking RNs with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Cath Lab, rotating shifts.
Several other pool assignments to choose from such as IMCU/Stepdown, ICU, ED, LDRP, Behavioral Health, Med/Surg, OR, PACU, Endo, Cath Lab, and Inpatient Case Management.
Minimum Requirements: *Valid RN license *2 years of consecutive Cath Lab experience within the last 2 years As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career.
There are many different specialties where you can perform and grow your nursing skills in areas of interest to you.
If you desire, there are promotional opportunities for leadership or to advance your level of care in a variety of settings.
This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients.

Meets and maintains any requirements defined by specific specialty; Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire; Emergency Care - ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire; Oncology Care ONS/ONCC or Sentara approved course Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of hire.
Women's Care - Perinatal departments; NRP within 6 months of hire.
Inpatient Pediatrics.
PALS within 6 months of hire.
All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
