Recovery Nurse

Responsibilities: - We are looking for an experienced recovery nurse in our busy endoscopy unit.
LPN or RMA certification is required.
BLS certification also required.
-The job includes handling patient assessments, gathering medical information and entering that data into the EMR system, checking patient vitals and monitoring patients after their procedures.
- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as maintaining medical records.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Provide patient care including taking vital signs and potentially cross-training in other areas of the endoscopy unit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications: - LPN or RMA certification required.
- Proficient in medical terminology and administrative tasks.
-Previous gastroenterology experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
