*Seeking Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor (PhD, LCSW, or LPC) for Expanding Substance Abuse Treatment Center* *GHR Center – Norfolk, VA* *Multiple positions are available.
* Become part of an interdisciplinary treatment team at the GHR Center for Addiction Recovery and Treatment.
We are seeking full-time licensed clinicians who can provide BOTH Substance Abuse and Mental Health Counseling for our OBAT and/or IOP programs.
You will provide recovery-oriented group therapy, psycho educational and individual therapy for substance abuse patients with co-occurring mental health disorders.
Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor LCSW or LPC Responsibilities: *Substance Abuse Therapy (Group, Individual and Family Therapy)* * Offer assistance to, and provide various modalities of therapy for, individuals with substance abuse issues * Provide relapse prevention-oriented therapy and psycho educational therapy *Mental Health Therapy (Group, Individual and Family Therapy)* * Establish open lines of communication and provide various modalities of therapy for individuals with mental health or emotional issues *Biopsychosocial Assessments* *Implement, review and update treatment plans using ASAM criteria* *Care Coordination: *Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment providers and agencies (courts, hospitals, Community Service Board, etc.
).
Provide monthly documentation of substance abuse care coordination for each patient.
Licensed Abuse Counselor LCSW or LPC Qualifications: * Experience in substance abuse and/or mental health counseling (experience in group, family, individual and educational counseling) * Experience with IOP Groups * knowledge of ASAM criteria and how to write and update treatment plans * Familiarity with community substance abuse and mental health resources * Familiarity with Care Coordination documentation * Excellent written and verbal communications skills * Ability to build rapport with clients, compassionate and caring demeanor * Strong leadership qualities Pay: *Minimum* annual pay, $72,000.
00 Pay: Commensurate with experience Job Type: Full-time Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: Norfolk, VA, in person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $72,000.
