Sentara Health is hiring for a Clinical Research Assistant!
Status: Full-Time permanent position
Standard working hours: 8 am to 5 pm EST, M-F
Location: Reports to Sentara Health Research Center in Norfolk, VA.
Will travel to the communities (Hampton roads area) for clinical studies approximately 75% of the time.
Job responsibilities: The Clinical Research Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Clinical Research Coordinators with the clinical trials; including the following activities: screening, enrolling, patient follow-up and study-related data entry.
Will ensure protocol compliance by closely monitoring and documenting study subjects while on study.
In addition, will assist with data and source documentation, adverse event reporting, and maintenance of regulatory/study binders.
Required qualifications: An Associate's Level Degree plus 2 years of experience OR Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) /Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) plus 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
