Position Overview:
As an Inventory Control Consultant with Sentara, you will be responsible for the day-to-day stock control tasks and reporting to support the needs of all Sentara hospitals.
The Inventory Control Consultant works as a part of the Stock Control Team to ensure all hospitals have adequate stock on hand to meet demand while also meeting Sentara's expectation of providing an excellent patient experience.
Duties Include:
-Assist Sentara with navigating backorders.
-Work with clinical partners to identify substitutes.
-Ensure facilities are stocking product at appropriate levels based on utilization.
-Handle system wide product conversions.
-Leverage Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools to build reports around -inventory management and backorders.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
2 years of related experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Experience Required:
3 years Purchasing/Buyer experience preferred.
