Physician Facilitator

· Located within the radiology department at Sentara Leigh Hospital.
· Help to prioritize and maintain optimal workflow for the Radiologist(s) on staff.
· Manage after hour front desk operations and delegate studies for the radiologist center.
· Manage high influx of radiology reports and phone calls coming in-house from physicians all over the Hampton Roads, Virginia area.
· Utilize hospital system to help maintain and support radiologist(s) on staff.
· Assist the Radiologist(s) as the primary liaison in contacting vital personnel to relay the completion of radiology studies and emergency readings/findings.
· Document in company database the patient faxes/ clinician phone calls, for reporting purposes.
· Collaborate with technicians, hospitals, nurses and doctors to provide adjunct care for the patient.
· Report to the evening/overnight/weekend Supervisor.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $13.
