Medical Assistant

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in a brand new Weight Loss Clinic.
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities: - Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures - Obtain and record vital signs, including height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers - Perform basic life support techniques when necessary - Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records - Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment - Educate patients on proper medication usage and other healthcare instructions - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent patient service Experience: - Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology a plus - Proficiency in medication administration techniques, especially subcutaneous injections (think insulin syringes) - Ability to accurately measure vital signs and record patient information - Basic life support certification is a plus - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care If you are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and are looking for an opportunity to grow in the medical field, we invite you to apply for the position of Medical Assistant.
