Job Description
Coordinate all elements of community engagement events and outreach to promote the university image, emphasize academic quality, research advancements, and foster community partnerships to attain regional, national, and international visibility for the university.
Type of Recruitment Knowledge, skills and abilities Demonstrated ability to coordinate events and outreach activities, ranging from small cultivation events to large university-wide lectures, conferences, or symposia (or the equivalent in field of employment).
Working knowledge of public relations principles and practices.
Working knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to organize, update, and maintain accurate records utilizing Microsoft Excel.
Excellent written, oral communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to engage and serve as a liaison with diverse clients and companies to develop and maintain partnerships.
Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
