Job Description
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and order in the university center by performing a variety of cleaning tasks and meeting room set-ups.
Strive to achieve perfection in supporting student activities and programs, meetings, and special events.
Provide hi h-level customer service and u hold Webb Center staffs work values.
Type of Recruitment Knowledge, skills and abilities MULTIPLE POSITIONS WILL BE HIRED FROM THIS RECRUITMENT Working knowledge of institutional cleaning methods and equipment operation.
Demonstrate the ability to properly operate a variety of housekeeping cleaning equipment, which may include but not be limited to (floor polishers, vacuums, shampoo machines, wet/dry vacuums, brushes, burnisher and auto scrubber).
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and customers.
Ability to read and write.
Special licenses, registration or certification None Education or training None Level and type of experience Some custodial experience in office, school or institutional setting.
Additional Considerations (supplemental knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, licensure, certification) None Conditions of Employment Hourly (wage) employees are restricted to working 29 hours per week on average or 1500 hours in total per year.
This position does not have health insurance, retirement or leave.
This position is considered essential personnel and will be required to work during inclement conditions when the university is closed.
