Type of Recruitment Knowledge, skills and abilities Considerable knowledge of the practices and procedures related to the scheduling, set-up and turnover of meeting spaces.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software.
Extensive knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good presentation skills.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a professional manner with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff and campus visitors.
Demonstrated ability to organize and maintain accurate records.
Demonstrated ability to work a flexible schedule composed primarily of evening, night, and weekend hours.
Demonstrated ability to explain policies, procedures, event types and equipment uses to customers.
Demonstrated ability to interview, hire, train, and supervise student staff.
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and problem solve which balance customers as well as operations.
Demonstrated some supervisory skills.
Demonstrated ability to learn new applications.

Conditions of Employment This is considered an essential position requiring work on nights, weekends, school closures, and special events.
