LPN

Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Monitor and record patient vital signs - Assist with patient assessments and physical examinations - Perform aseptic techniques and maintain sterile processing - Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing - Assist with acute pain management interventions - Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans - Document patient information accurately and timely in medical records Requirements: - Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of [location] - Knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile processing - Proficient in specimen collection processing - Experience in acute pain management - Familiarity with laboratory procedures and protocols - Understanding of family planning principles and practices - Ability to perform physical examinations - Strong health coaching skills - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus - Excellent medical documentation skills, including accurate and timely record keeping Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
