Licensed Veterinary Technician - Dogs, Cats & Exotics

*Responsibilities:* * Collaborate with our veterinarians and team members to ensure seamless patient care and direct appointment and emergency case flow.
* Process laboratory samples using in house analyzers and external laboratories.
* Maintain thorough and accurate medical records.
* Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and post-operative instructions.
* Handle and restrain animals with compassion and expertise.
* Obtain diagnostic imaging via x-ray machines and CT * Maintain anesthesia and assist with surgical and dental procedures *Qualifications:* * *Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)* with a valid VA state license.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and protocols.
* Passionate about providing top-notch care to a variety of species – including wildlife * Proficient in venipuncture, catheter placement, and animal handling.
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
