Join our amazing team of individuals committed to improving our community! *Clinical Supervisor/Team Lead* *Position Description* Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Clinical Supervisor/Team Lead provides supervision and oversight while directing a team-based, client-centered, assertive mental health service that adheres to evidence-based practice designed to serve individuals with severe mental illness.
The Clinical Supervisor/Team Lead works collaboratively with team in developing, implementing, and carrying out treatment plans and functions as a practicing clinician on the team, maintaining a minimal caseload balanced against supervisory responsibilities.
*Requirements* Clinical Supervisor/Team Lead must meet the following qualifications: · LMHP or LMHP-R with three years of experience in the provision of mental health services to adults with serious mental illness .
· Exceptional clinical and organizational skills.
· Experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
· Supervisory and program management experience.
· A valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance are required.
*Position Responsibilities* 1.
Direct the day-to-day clinical operations of a multidisciplinary team including scheduling staff work hours to ensure appropriate coverage for day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, and on-call hours.
2.
Lead the daily organizational staff meetings and treatment planning meetings.
3.
Continuously evaluate the status of clients and do appropriate planning and coordination of treatment activities to ensure immediate attention to their changing needs.
4.
Direct and coordinate the client admission process and treatment, rehabilitation, and support services of the program in coordination with the psychiatric provider.
5.
Provide and coordinate outreach and crisis intervention services to clients in the community, and routinely identify and evaluate physical risk factors for self and others.
6.
Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, work assignments, and orientation and performance supervision according to work rules, regulations, and policies 7.
Develop and implement staff orientation and training.
8.
Supervise chart management for clients served by the team assuring maintenance of the medical record in compliance with agency policies, Medicaid, all applicable MCOs, and other regulatory and contractual requirements.
9.
Carry out and document quality-assurance activities and reviews of the use of program services.
10.
Maintain program policies and procedures.
11.
Initiate and maintain relationships, in coordination with other staff, with other human services organizations, law-enforcement, and other community resources (e.
g.
landlords, employers), and with other agency departments and programs.
12.
Work closely with clients’ families, advocacy groups, and ombuds services to ensure an open and receptive communication process.
13.
Conduct clinical assessments and provide direct clinical treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to clients.
14.
Perform on-call duty for crisis intervention and for staff supervision and consultation.
15.
Prepare Prior Authorization requests, prepares extensions as needed; maintain prior authorization dates.
16.
Ensure nursing protocols and documentation are in compliance.
17.
Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff.
18.
Verify billing insurance eligibility 19.
Monitor serious incident reports and ensure proper protocols are followed 20.
Adhere to DBHDS, Magellan, DMAS, and Human Rights regulations and guidelines.
21.
Report directly to Clinical Director daily with any updates, concerns, or suggestions for program implementation 22.
Provide direct and emergency back-up service support to members of the ACT team.
In addition to the above, any other responsibilities appropriate to the position and not specifically listed in the job description as indicated by the Clinical Director or the Officers of Life’s Journey.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $65,000.
