Location: 1228 W Little Creek Rd, Norfolk, VA 23505 VCA Animal Care Center is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team.
We are currently offering a $1000 signing bonus and $1000 longevity bonus for full time LVTs! About Us We are an AAHA-accredited 1-doctor practice in Norfolk, VA, offering Primary Care, Surgery and Dentistry services for canine and feline patients.
We are open Monday through Friday 8am - 6pm, as well as on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month.

com/animal-care-center About the Role As LVT, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients.
Duties will include: Compassionate patient care Client education and care Venipuncture and catheter placement Radiology and diagnostics Lab sample collection and processing Surgical preparation and assisting Anesthesia monitoring Dentistry Medication preparation and administration Safe and effective patient handling and restraint Medical recordkeeping Compensation for this role starts at $20-25/hr based on experience, skill level and relevant education and credentials.

Qualifications: Virginia Veterinary Technician license (LVT) or eligible upon hire.
Proficient in veterinary technical skills including duties listed above.
