A location Supervisor at The Gourmet Gang supports the store's Area Manager in all aspects of the location's complex food service and gourmet retail business.
Supervisors also serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD).
While all Assistants are not necessarily in training to become a location Area Manager, the supervisor position offers the clearest career track for the Area Manager position.
You will be leading and working with the sandwich, salad and customer service teams to ensure guest's orders are executed precisely and quickly.
You will be in charge of the daily workflow from start to finish, including but not limited to:
Ordering product and keeping accurate inventory while enforcing food safety regulations and health standards in a clean and organized work area
Maintaining an effective and positive environment while keeping the team aware of changes, new menu items and procedures
Expo and assisting other stations as needed
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Minimum two years supervisory experience including, but not limited to training, coaching, resolving conflicts, building a team and evaluating team performance.
Minimum two years retail experience, preferably in food service
Outstanding customer service skills
Attention to detail and good organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple demands, work under time pressures, and meet deadlines
Willingness to be open, to learn, and to take on new responsibilities
Demonstrate objectivity, neutrality and calmness under pressure
Ability to follow through on systems and procedures
Regular, predictable attendance
Effective communication skills in English
