Sentara Healthcare is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Director Pharmacy - Clinical.
This position is remote (within our remote states).
Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift Position Location: This position is remote (traveling flexibility is required for onsite meetings in Virginia).
Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree Required.
3 years of management/leadership experience required.
5 years of managed care, health plan or PBM required.
Preferred Requirements: PharmD, MBA or MPH preferred.
Expectations for this Role: For this position we are seeking an individual who can develop, implement and manage a strategic plan for Clinical Pharmacy, which includes establishing and meeting short- and long-term goals and managing the pharmacy trend and cost of care.
Additional Expectations: Optimize the formulary and utilization management strategy for all lines of business.
Develop, implement, and manage clinical pharmacy programs and initiatives related to quality and care management.
Promote efficiency and effectiveness in clinical pharmacy operations.
Provide leadership and support to the clinical pharmacy team as well as to internal and external stakeholders.
