The Norfolk Community Services Board (NCSB) provides treatment, support, and education to the community with a focus on mental illness, substance use addiction, and intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Norfolk CSB provides services to persons in acute crisis as well as integrated, person-centered, and recovery-oriented programming for persons needing assistance and support stabilizing in the community.
Today, the NCSB provides treatment and rehabilitation services to over 6,000 Norfolk citizens yearly.

The NCSB is seeking a Management Analyst I (MAI) to perform specialized hybrid administrative and direct customer support services for programs that serve homeless individuals with disabling conditions.
The MAI will also assist with data collection, grant reporting, and budget monitoring for The Center (Emergency Shelter).
Other duties include conducting intakes to determine eligibility, engagement with guests onsite as needed to support staffing, and data entry to ensure participant files are updated and contain all information necessary to document activities.
Departmental Hiring Salary Range: $45,013- $51,764
Essential Functions
Essential functions include but are not limited to:
Performs financial duties for the department by posting data to the general ledger, reconciling bank statements, preparing the budget, preparing year end schedules and reports and processing payroll and accounts payable.
Performs project management for the department by collecting, examining and presenting records and information for various projects, conducting open space, park and trail planning, developing departmental directives, policies and procedures and conducting management and operational analysis.
Performs administrative duties by analyzing benefit calculations, carrying out full administrative responsibilities in the supervisor's absence and composing monthly reports or newsletters.
Performs related duties by serving as administrator of various programs, assisting personnel with software and hardware issues and performing other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
Work requires broad knowledge in a professional business field.
Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Two years' experience in data analysis or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in the human services field working with individuals with serious mental illness and individuals experiencing homelessness preferred.
Considerable data management experience also preferred.
