Job Description HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced HR Professional to engage, influence and provide successful multi-domain (HRBP, TA, Compensation, Benefits, Learning etc.
) HR expertise in support of a large Operations and Maintenance contract within Mission Technologies.
This is an exciting opportunity to create, implement and drive creative and unique Human Capital Solutions by partnering with key stakeholders throughout HR and leaders in an HR Manager role.
This position is a hybrid role, based in either our Fairfax, VA or Orlando, FL office.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated/self-starter champion and partner who can advise leaders, be a trusted partner with the business, and provide outstanding customer service to employees.
The successful person possesses the following skills: Motivated - You are a problem solver and thrive when you are empowered to create solutions.
System Savvy - You are skilled with systems and learning new tools enabling you to recommend the appropriate systems resulting in an environment that is easy to navigate and access artifacts for the stakeholder community.

Self-driven - You have superior integrity, organizational skills, and great follow through on tasks.
You do not get overwhelmed easily and prefer to work with minimal supervision.
Master Juggler - You understand how to manage multiple priorities and understand how the little pieces fit together.
Prior experience executing human capital solutions is preferred.
Essential Job Responsibilities The individual we are interested in bringing to our team has a record of accomplishment in the Human Resources field as an HR Business Partner at the Manager level and has translatable experience that they can articulate to demonstrate the following experience: • Possesses a consultative engagement mindset and effectively engages with all levels of leadership including senior leadership, HR Managers/Business Partners, TA Managers or Recruiters, Compensation, Benefits and Security to identify priorities and deliverables.
• Experience with SCA and CBA workforces is a must.
• Other experience necessary includes employee relations matters to include conducting and overseeing investigations and writing reports, managing the grievance process, knowledge of employment regulatory requirements as they pertain to in the Government Contracting space.
• Must be able to demonstrate experience handling multiple tasks in a team-based, fast paced, high demand environment and possess excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Understands and effectively responds to the complexity of solutions with a dispersed workforce.
• Partners with BD, PM and TA in support of new bids and re-compete bids to ensure development of hiring strategy and identifying any legal concerns.
Minimum Qualifications • 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; or 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field.
• Government contracting (DOD) experience.
• Labor relations/union experience.
• Experience as mid-level Human Resources Business Partner • Previous experience with a Human Resource Information System.
• Must have experience interacting with multiple HR domains such as TA, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Development.
• Ability to demonstrate effective influencing skills.
• Ability to demonstrate superb communication skills.
• Previous experience supervising and mentoring HR personnel.
Preferred Requirements • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
