Job Description:
This position is responsible for daily maintenance in the CS Gold Database.
This includes, but is not limited to, adding and maintaining patron accounts, establishing meal plans and debit accounts, running and reconciling daily, weekly and monthly reports and/or balancing as requested.
This position is also back up support for the front desk and may include taking payments, making ID cards and answering telephone inquiries.
To provide superior customer service while maintaining the integrity of the Card Center office which promotes team building that secures prompt and courteous service, accurate and timely fiscal reports and ensures daily operations are administered as stated in the policies and procedures manual.
Minimum Qualifications:
Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles.
Working knowledge of effective customer service and problem-resolution techniques when serving diverse customers.
Working knowledge of standard office practices & procedures.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to enter and manipulate data and produce reports in database software.
Demonstrated ability and proficiency in producing documents using PC-based software such as Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and Word).
Demonstrated ability to reconcile data from different source documents and the ability to pay close attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to balance financial accounts.
