ERP (SAP) FUNCTIONAL MANAGER DESIRED SKILLS:
Extensive functional module and configuration experience of the business systems and processes of SAP Finance and Supply Chain as implemented by the Navy ERP solution
Knowledge of the SAP ECC and S/4 solution set and associated SAP architecture
Project management experience
Expert level DoD Financial Management business process and data analysis experience in transitioning from implementation to sustainment
Ability to create and present SAP ERP transition strategy development, knowledge transfers and management solutions to executive level government staff
Expert level SAP Testing experience to include the ability to lead and organize meetings that include agenda items such as test compliant data
The ERP (SAP) FUNCTIONAL MANAGER position will support the Department of the Navy’s migration of all active non-classified transactions to ERP SAP application, as the single General Ledger.
Assist the team to enable the successful migration of the U.
S.
Fleet Forces Command, Pacific Fleet, and Navy Reserve Forces Command from the SABRS accounting system and other feeder systems to Navy ERP.
Work to enable the execution of a Navy end-to-end migration, stabilization, and user adoption of legacy financial data to Navy ERP.
The Functional Manager shall have demonstrated expertise in leading functional management for a large scale (large-scale is considered as overall program implementation team>150 Staff) ERP deployment for a client.

ERP (SAP) FUNCTIONAL MANAGER EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
5+ relevant DoD ERP experience with expert level knowledge of DoD financial management regulations
Program or project management experience, acquisition manager, or business analyst experience a plus
Ability to effectively interface with senior DoD SES staff, academia, industry in meetings, workshops, and forums
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and on a team
