We are currently seeking a Project Manager (Engineering Lab) to join our team.
This position is in Norfolk, VA and is contingent upon contract award.
Job Responsibilities:
• The MCEL fills a critical role for the C4 program, providing a facility to support the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of C4 capabilities, ensuring MSC Afloat IT systems are developed to a rigorous systems engineering standard prior to their use in the MSC fleet.
• The MCEL Manager shall have experience in planning, oversight and management of IT engineering, integration and test facilities.
• The MCEL Manager will be responsible to ensure MCEL is in compliance with all DOD and Navy mandates and maintains an Authority to Operate (ATO).
• The MCEL Project Manager must ensure the ability to provide development, software integration and validation testing for the SMIS classified and unclassified environments.
Manage MCEL support staff, direct troubleshooting efforts related to technical issues of MCEL systems or connections to ANOC or NGW.

• Windows Server 2016 experience and Azure certification (minimum)
• Windows Server 2016 certification (preferred)
• Windows Server 2008 or 2012 certification (preferred)

03 Foundational Qualification for Intermediate Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist (521) or current equivalent in the case where the current DOD instruction becomes superseded by a new instruction.
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Hyper-V
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Exchange and Server 2016
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows 10 LTSC
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 (preferred)
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows 7 (preferred)
• Microsoft Outlook and the Office Suite
• Experience with the development of SOPs for network devices, virtual machine hosts, and virtual machine guest deployment (installation, configuration, et.

)
• Experience with prioritizing system/software testing with regards to MSC ship requirements.
• Manage SMIS classified and unclassified environments for MCEL “ship on shore” MCEL's live shipboard environment.
• Maintain MCEL in accordance with all current Navy mandates.
• Ability to successfully manage relationships between various divisions, vendors, and resources to include NGW training, ad hoc reporting, defining policies, methods and procedures and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Manage software library in accordance with configuration management policy
• Manage image library in accordance with configuration management policy
• Government granted security clearance required.
