At BMNT, Project Leads play an integral role in our consulting practice and their goal is to successfully execute projects to achieve our customers' desired outcomes.
Project Leads strategize with and lead teams supporting Program Managers.
Our Project Leads have a deep understanding of BMNT products and services and the underlying methodologies.
This ensures they can successfully drive results for customers.
This includes planning facilitated workshops, market research, and stakeholder management.
In addition, our Project Leads are capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously and managing a diverse team to efficiently reach key milestones with limited or no oversight.
This specific role resides on the BMNT Naval Team.
We are building a high-trust, high-performing team and are seeking a Project Lead to help deliver support for U.
S.
Navy customers primarily under the Office of Naval Research (ONR).
ONR coordinates, executes, and promotes the science and technology programs of the United States Navy and Marine Corps, and this position is a perfect opportunity to have real impact.
The Project Lead will be part of the Fleet Force Innovation Operations Support Team directly supporting Naval Special Warfare Group Four (NSWG-4) in Little Creek, VA on behalf of NavalX.
*Location: *This is a hybrid position, *based out of Little Creek, VA*, with the expectation of being in the office two to three days per week, but sometimes daily based on customer needs.
Travel to the BMNT Washington, D.
Office (in Arlington, VA) will be necessary on occasion.
*What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities):* * Work directly with NSWG-4 to understand problems and capability gaps, and document those needs in an unclassified problem statement .
* Conduct engagements with problem owners, users, technical experts, influencers, and program offices to better understand the problem and create alignment and buy-in.
* Interface with supporting organizations (like Navy Tech Bridges, ONRG Science Advisors, and Naval Postgraduate School) to align resources and build coalitions around problems to be solved.
* Coordinate discussions between NSWG-4 and tech scouting agents (like In-Q-Tel) to inform technical scans for novel technology solutions.

* Conduct technology searches in the SBIR portfolio and other databases (like Vulcan).
* Attend technology demonstrations, tradeshows and technology conferences to identify novel technology solutions.
* Conduct engagements with technology companies to validate product-mission fit and conduct capability readiness assessments.
* Conduct engagements with downstream adoption stakeholders (like Resource Sponsors and Program offices) to understand fielding and scaling pathways for technologies that perform well in NSW experiments.
* Interface with organizations with contract pathways and complete necessary forms and paperwork to facilitate putting solution providers under contract.
* Coordinate resources for the planning, execution, and reporting of NSW experiments * Draft status updates and write articles documenting progress and success stories * Track progress (dates) on all documented problems as they progress through the phases of Innovation Operations.
* Travel as required; submit travel requests and travel reports *Required Experience and Qualifications You'll Need to Thrive in the Role:* * Bachelor's degree.

* *Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) required.
* * 10+ years of consulting or relevant project management experience.
* Experience in planning, coordinating, and synchronizing tasks across projects.
* Demonstrated organizational skills and experience in delivering tasks and projects on time and that achieve desired results.
* Ability to self-direct research in order to quickly generate a broad understanding of previously unfamiliar topics due to the diverse breadth of work on the contract.
* Mature interpersonal skills and able to participate successfully in a team environment to accomplish assignments requiring group efforts.
* Analytical capability to synthesize key takeaways and recommendations from interviews, observations, and research.
* Strong listening and consultative skills and ability to influence without positional authority.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to collaborate with various organizational levels.
* Ability to present materials in a polished and professional manner.
* Travel up to 25% of the time based on customer needs.
