*Job description* A market leader in real estate property management is seeking an energized Licensed Property Manager Assistant at our Norfolk Office.
The Licensed Property Manager Assistant is a dynamic position that will provide key support in all areas of property management.
They will help manage the day-to-day operations of the office and have a passion for exceeding expectations and providing exceptional customer experience.
*Duties and Responsibilities:* * Building positive relationships with prospective and current tenants, landlords/owners, vendors.
* Meets with prospective qualified tenants to show properties and explain terms of occupancy.
* Assist with reviewing rental applications, lease paperwork and addendums.
* Inspect properties with tenants for move-in/move-outs.
* Review and maintain owner and tenant files.
* Processes forms, reports, and administrative information.
* Assist in scheduling and monitoring maintenance activities.
* Process invoices.
* Create and deliver renewal notices.
Review lease renewals and applicable addendums.
* Handle billing questions, move outs, and notices.
Handle tenant concerns.
* Other duties, as assigned.
*Qualifications:* * *REQUIRED*: Virginia Real Estate Salesperson or Associate Broker License.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Residential leasing, sales and/or property management experience, preferred * Strong customer service skills * Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions.
* Detail oriented, organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
* Professional verbal and written communication skills.
* Manage conflicting priorities.
Ability to adjust priorities daily.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
* Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
* Knowledge of AppFolio of DotLoop software - a plus.
