EDU Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties The objective of the Facilities Management Department shall be to provide a campus environment that is conducive to working and learning through the systematic maintenance, repair, renovation and construction of campus buildings, facilities, and infrastructure.

Develop and oversee transportation policies, procedures, and programsto ensure safe and efficient transportation operations 2.
Review status of all maintenance on equipment to determineits usability monthly.
3.
Maintain monthly maintenance records on the fleet equipment.
4.
Review requests for long distance bus service (trips) and make the appropriate work assignment.
5.
Obtain all necessary documents and other information required for bus services.
6.
Attend meetings with campus partners regarding the university's transportation needs.
7.
Work with vendors to obtain quotes for division's purchasing needs.
8.
Complete monthly, weekly and annual reporting requirements.
9.
Approval of full-time and part-time time sheets using time and attendance system.
10.
Ensure all staff are in compliant with transportation certification requirements and conduct training when necesary.
Minimum Qualifications 1.
Must have supervisor experience in transportation operations.
2.
Must have knowledge of and ability to operate current highway and road navigation devices.
3.
Ability to communicateeffectively both orally and in writing.
4.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task 5.
Requires a deep understanding of transportation technologies and industry trends.
6.
Ability to work effectively with the university community.
7.
Demonstrated ability to develop long term strategic.
8.
Solid math skills adequate for computing load tolerance and mileage estimates 9.
Leadership and the ability to positively motivate a team of drivers, mechanics, and laborers.
10.
A working understanding of vehicle components, loading equipment and computers.
11.
Proven experience as a transportation manageror similar role 12.
Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations for transportation 13.
Strong leadership and team management skills 14.
Analytical and problem-solving skills 15.
Ability to make decisions under pressure.
16.
Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
17.
Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed.
18.
Currentvalid vehicle operator's license or commercial driver's license required.
19.
Should have five or more years of experience in bus services operations.
