edu Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties Job Duties The Human Resources Operations Manager assists with optimizing workflows within the HR applications and other operational functions.
Responsibilities include gathering data, improving workflow performance of various Human Resource Information System (HRIS) functions and processes, and making recommendations to improve HR interaction across the university, and managing the department’s budget and invoicing.
This position fulfills liaison duties between HR, Payroll, Budget and Accounts Payable & Receivables.
This position will be the initial point of contact for all human resource operations issues.
This is an on-site position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates with IT and HR teams to analyze HRIS application requirements Develops and implements various HRIS procedures and prepares customized reports Designs and executes custom ad hoc reports using various software Monitors HRIS applications and maintains integrity of all data Provides efficient feedback to all system enhancements and provides training when necessary for system and application processes Assists with problem resolution for HR production issues Assists department in gathering requirements for changes and participates in HR application solutions Provides application support to all HRIS reports Develops and implements new processes and systems for efficient HR management Performs statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data Performs audits on HR processes, data and documents, when required Keeps track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS Develop partnerships across departments and deliver HR value-added service to employees Develops and maintains positive relationship with employees Maintain and troubleshoot all HR systems Keep up to date on hiring regulations and update internal processes as necessary Responsible for overseeing job descriptions and monitoring performance evaluation processes Assess department and University needs in relation to recruiting, hiring, onboarding new employees and improve processes and establish policies where needed Maintain and monitors the Human Resources budget Works with accounting and departments to ensure accountability and that funds are department funds are used appropriately and that payments for invoices are processed Maintains accurate employment records, including the I-9 and W-4 forms, student employment information and the collection of the data required for ongoing compliance reports Reviews and verifies employee verification data Advises department managers in all areas of human resources including policies and procedures Maintains an in-depth knowledge of all applicable State and Federal law, trainings, University specific policies and processes, and day to day HR management Works with department managers to resolve routine human resource system issues Minimum Qualifications Critical thinking skills, proactive, results oriented Experience with Oracle/Peoplesoft/Cardinal applications Demonstrated experience with Crystal Reports Proven experience in all Microsoft Office applications, specifically SharePoint Proven work experience as an HRIS Analyst, Operations consultant or similar role Experience in analyzing HRIS and HR performance metrics Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including documentation Relevant training and/or certifications as an HRIS Analyst Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the University Ability to effectively manage multiple employees Additional Considerations As delineated above.
