Position Summary: Responsible for all e-commerce departments, across multiple locations.
The e-commerce Assistant Manager ensures consistency and execution of organizational goals and standards.
Assists in maximizing financial results, customer experience and associate satisfaction.
Ensures a positive work environment and acts as an exemplary role model for associates.
Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.
) 1.
Identifies and determines appropriate value of merchandise for e-commerce auctions.
2.
Effectively performs daily listings and lists auctions with pictures and description of merchandise to bring maximum value.
3.
Delivers and promotes internal/external good customer service and follows up on non-paying customers and refunds.
4.
Tracks e-commerce auction sales to budget and by store.
5.
Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports.
6.
Monitors the workflow and daily task planning for the entire team including the shippers.
7.
Manages supply inventory.
8.
Prepares monthly updates/newsletters identifying items needed for internal auctions.
9.
Visits stores to train staff in retail and production on e-commerce procedures and book pre-scanning process.
10.
Maintains clean and orderly processing areas.
11.
Effectively pick, packs and ships paid auctions to the correct customers.
12.
Controls inventory by pulling non-selling items and getting them to the appropriate department within Goodwill (auction, outlet, e-recycle, salvage).
13.
Reports shipping issues to relevant company and files claims as necessary.
Supervisory Responsibilities The associate in this position has supervisory responsibility for designated associates in their department.
Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 Years' experience in a related field preferred.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.
• Associates in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check and sex offender check.
• Ability to operate PC, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Information Privacy and Security This associate may have access to Confidential Information (CI) and is required to be familiar with the Goodwill Privacy policy 10.
23 related to the handling of CI, and follow all related procedures required to protect the privacy and security of CI.
Physical Demands/Work Environment/Work Conditions • The associate is required to lift up to 35 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 10 pounds.
Involves walking and/or standing to a significant degree, with some pushing and pulling.
• The associate works in a moderate work environment with occasional exposure to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.
).
• Assists in special jobs, during scheduled work hours, and on weekends as requested by the Project Manager.
• Associate may be required to transport associates and/or equipment.
• May be required to work at multiple designated work sites or may be reassigned as needed to other contract sites.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, stand and walk for 4-8 hours.
• Occasional travel within the Goodwill service territory may be required.
• The associate is required to travel throughout the Goodwill service area.
• The associate must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as business needs dictate.
