Animal Vision Center of Virginia is a veterinary ophthalmology practice with 2 locations Virginia Beach and Chesapeake! AVCVA is dedicated to providing the highest level of ophthalmic care to our pet patients while supporting their owners with clear and concise treatment plans and education on their pet’s ocular condition.
We are seeking a Client Care coordinator Supervisor that is motivated, upbeat, client service oriented, multitasker, experience with excel/word, accounts receivable, and a prior leadership position to join our team.
This team member must have 3 years of experience in reception (veterinary experience a plus).
This position will be primarily in the Virginia Beach location (Town center) and occasionally in Chesapeake location (Great Bridge).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the customer service team to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor customer interactions to ensure adherence to company standards
- Train, coach, and mentor customer service representatives to improve performance
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
- Analyze customer service data and generate reports on key metrics
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in customer service
Skills:
- Previous experience in a medical or veterinary setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of office procedures and administrative support
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare practices is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle difficult or irate customers with professionalism and empathy
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
