Posting Details Posting Details Working Title Credential Intake Manager Position Number 00555A Department UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS Location Norfolk, VA Type of Position Classified Type of Job Full Time EEO Category E Paraprofessionals Job Description This position is responsible for managing the intake and coding of all application credentials and Admissions University business that is sent in via mail, electronic delivery service, and through application platforms.
This position is responsible for managing and leading the daily download process for electronically received credentials, scanning and uploading credentials to the OCR solution or application platform (as appropriate), and inputting detailed and accurate information reported on transcripts and application credentials into the student information system (Banner), the CRM (Salesforce), and the OCR solution (Hyland) as appropriate.
This position provides guidance and leadership on the best practices for secure and evolving credential intake processes and management with collaboration from departmental and campus stakeholders, while supervising the credential intake team.
Type of Recruitment Knowledge, skills and abilities Considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem-solving techniques.
Demonstrated supervisory experience.
Considerable knowledge of concepts, principals, and processes for electronic imaging and credential processing.
Prior high education knowledge in a university setting.
Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy while completing repetitive tasks.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment regarding credential authenticity and confidential information.
Considerable demonstrated skill in utilizing PC-related software (e.
g.
, Salesforce, Banner, Hyland, Common App, Microsoft Office).
Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with the public, as well as interpret, explain, and apply a variety of policies, regulations, and standards.

Conditions of Employment Given the nature of the positions in Student Engagement and Enrollment Services that provide support to student services and/or student-centered programs, the employee occupying this position may be required to work during a university closing.
There may be occasions where the employee will be asked to work during university closings as directed by his or her supervisor.
These instances may include working from a remote location (i.
e.
telework).
This position is located on-campus and is not telework/remote eligible (unless instructed in special circumstances by supervisor).
