Job Description
To assist the Associate Dean of Students with daily activities in order to carry out his/her leadership and management responsibilities.
These responsibilities include administrative support, office management, project coordination, and supervision.
Type of Recruitment Knowledge, skills and abilities Comprehensive knowledge of office practices and procedures.
Working knowledge of effective oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of effective customer service and problem-resolution skills.
Basic knowledge of basic desktop publishing.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, make workflow decisions and manage large complex projects independently.
Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse constituencies.
Demonstrated ability to produce documents using Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to lead and direct the work of others.
Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and coordinate special events.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to attention to detail, to follow established guidelines and timelines.

Conditions of Employment Given the nature of the position in Student Engagement & Enrollment Services that provide support to student services and/or student-centered programs, the employee occupying this position may be required to work during a university closing as directed by his or her supervisor.
These instances may include working from a remote location (i.

telework, etc.
).
