Job Overview & Responsibilities: The Vice President, Human Resources is responsible for shaping the future of our organization through innovative people practices and holistic employee engagement strategies.
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with executive management, this role provides strategic leadership and guidance in the execution of the company’s business goals.
The VP, Human Resources manages a team of HR professionals in support of our programs and practices to attract, retain, and develop our people.
You will support the growth of the organization through innovative approaches in achieving business success and elevating the employee experience.

Responsibilities Collaborate with the executive committee and senior leadership to drive strategies for employee engagement, compensation, talent acquisition, people operations, career development, learning and growth, and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
Lead members of the human resources team in executing on human resources priorities, and support achieving success in their current scope and advancement in their careers.
Champion Mythics’ culture throughout the candidate and employee experience.
Influence and guide executive leadership in its decisions around people and culture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between our people practices and business goals.
Ensure a robust strategy to support our hybrid and remote work environments to keep people engaged, connected, and thriving.
Design and lead change management strategy and integration process supporting mergers and acquisition activities.
Stay on top of industry trends, best practices, OFCCP, and other government compliance requirements to continuously improve our people-related programs.
Other Duties Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications: Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
15+ years’ progressive experience in human resources, including organizational design, workforce planning, employee experience, talent and performance management, total rewards, talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, and employment law.
7+ years’ experience in a leadership, supervisory role.
Experience building great cultures, engagement and employee experiences.
Experience working in government contracting and technology environments.
Experience managing integration of new employees through mergers and acquisitions.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSAs) Expertise in human resources, including Organizational Design, Workforce Planning, Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Experience, Talent and Performance Management, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and Employment Law.
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or SHRM-SCP required.
Expertise in coaching executives, effectively articulating ideas, leveraging data to drive decisions and influencing pivotal stakeholders.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple work assignments to meet deadlines.
Strong customer orientation and conflict resolution skills.
Sound judgment in decision-making and problem solving.
Expert level presentation and facilitation skills.
Experience in due diligence and integration initiatives for M&A.
Demonstrated understanding of the Federal and State employment laws, such as Title VII and all amendments, FLSA, EEOC guidelines.
Supervisory Responsibility This position is a supervisory role of exempt staff.
Travel If located remotely, some travel expected to the Virginia Beach office.
