Job Summary:
The Program Manager will assist the Curriculum and Program Director by overseeing all programs necessary to accreditation, licensing, and quality; oversight of general practice, policy, and procedure vital to all major and minor functionality of Children’s Harbor centers.
The Program Manager will also support the Assistant/ Center Director Leadership in all areas where the programs are concerned.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee curriculum Implementation (Fidelity checks)
Conduct center audits to include health & safety, licensing, staff and students file audits, Emergency Preparedness, etc.
Create and follow up on center improvement plans from audit findings.
Provide direct support and T/A to the centers such as coaching, training, guidance as needed for licensing, NAEYC, VA Quality, child development, etc.
Provide coverage in the absence of the Center Director and Assistant Center Director as needed
Conduct classroom observations monthly
Provide T/A (reviewing results, follow up and tracking) for ASQ evaluations ensuring full compliance
Stay current and knowledgeable in all areas related to program implementation and quality improvement (Curriculum, Assessments, Grant Programs, etc.
)
Provide T/A with maintaining NAEYC accreditation.
Provide coaching and development to improve standing for Virginia Quality
Suggest updates to management binder and procedural guides as necessary.
Other duties as assigned by the Curriculum and Program Director.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field required.
Prior experience in a leadership role managing multiple high-level staff, minimum of 5 years.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
