Assistant Warehouse Supervisor

* Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling - Supervise a team of warehouse associates and provide guidance and support as needed - Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and shipments - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing department to replenish stock - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment - Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols - Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse efficiency Experience: - Previous experience in a warehouse/logistics environment, preferably using automation.
- Proficiency with horizontal/vertical or similar warehouse management systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with order checking and shipping is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
